I love food. But I'm no expert. I started this blog so I could become a better cook, and it's evolved into a place where I can do things like wax poetic about chaat masala, document my emotional battle with a squash and briefly discuss how glorious salt is. My work has appeared in places like The Cook's Cook Magazine and Paper/Plates, and I've been featured on Paper/Plate's ATTW and Foodista. 

All of the pictures you’ll find here, unless otherwise stated, were taken by me with a Canon Rebel T2i camera using either the stock 18-55mm lens or a 50mm f1.4 lens. When I'm not playing chef, I can be found geeking out in the digital media world.
